How Motorola's enterprise biz acquisition will help Zebra? 
According to the latest report, Barcode printer maker Zebra Technologiesis all set to acquire Motorola Solutions' enterprise business. Going by the reports, the latest deal will close for $3.45 billion in cash.

The deal will help Zebra to tap the opportunity presented by the profusion of devices, ranging from cars to smoke alarms, connected to the Internet. After the acquisition, about 4,500 Motorola Solutions' employees will join Zebra.

According to the official statement by Anders Gustafsson, CEO, Zebra Technologies, the company has entered into an agreement to acquire the Enterprise business of Motorola Solutions. Zebra’s acquisition of the Enterprise business will combine the complementary offerings of two industry leaders in asset tracking solutions to create a market leader in enterprise asset intelligence for the Connected Age. Motorola Solutions’ mobile platform captures real-time data about physical assets, people, and transactions across the enterprise.
