Dell keen to offer IT infrastructure solutions to West Bengal “Digital India” and e-Gov Initiatives
Dell has recently concluded the “Government Connect Conference” in Kolkata. The programme sought to emphasize the need for deploying IT infrastructure, thereby improving government functioning and also understand the pain points and solutions pertaining to IT infrastructure for government stakeholders in the region.
As per “IT Pulse” – a survey conducted before the conference to understand the challenges faced by stakeholders in adopting technology – West Bengal has emerged as the new dominant IT hub. With sound awareness around new technological solutions such as data center, storage, cloud, security, etc, Webel has introduced significant computerization at various levels in several government departments and directorates.
