McAfee, RSA rolls Compliance & Risk Management Solution

McAfee and RSA, the Security Division of EMC has unveiled a new joint solution based on their existing technology partnership. This joint solution integrates security data from the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform (McAfee ePO) with business infrastructure and compliance data in the RSA Archer eGRC Platform and the RSA Archer Enterprise Management solution. By connecting this data, customers can better leverage business information together with security data to gain a deeper understanding of risk and compliance issues.

Dave Anderson, Sr. Director, Security Management, McAfee said, "The McAfee and RSA solution provides greater visibility into the state of security and compliance across the enterprise infrastructure and enables a more comprehensive understanding of the business' risk and compliance posture. The integration allows organizations to utilize McAfee security management products to manage system level security while also incorporating data and findings from those products into their risk and compliance management processes within the RSA Archer eGRC Platform."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
