Intel excited about All-in-One…

Intel in India has spoken about its All-in-One (AIO) strategy for the Indian market. Intel aims to enable a larger number of channel partners to offer All-in-Ones. The meeting was addressed by Suryanarayan B, Director - Sales (West), Intel South Asia.

In his presentation, he explained in great detail the background and research behind Intel's vision to enable channel on AIO and how AIO consumption in India is accelerating desktop growth, consumer reactions towards the AIOs and how the evolution of the AIOs is reviving desktops for consumers now and in the future.

Suryanarayan B, Director - Sales (West), Intel South Asia, said, "With the increased market interest and growth in the All-in-One segment over the past few years, we feel there is a real opportunity to enable the smaller system integrators with this form factor. Hence, Intel plans to work with ODMs and chassis vendors to develop system solutions that are designed around common ingredients, thereby creating a component ecosystem for this segment, driving manufacturing efficiencies and increasing overall volumes."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
