Foxconn briefs December revenues
Foxconn Electronics has declared unconsolidated December revenues of NT$316.944 billion (US$11 billion), a 3.17% increase on month and 29.53% increase on year. Accumulated revenues for 2011 reached NT$2.77 trillion, a 19.89% increase compared to 2010.
Foxconn has announced that the growth in revenues was due to increased demand of consumer electronics. PC and telecom business units have also been growing continuously. Industry sources believe high demand for Apple products such as iPhone and iPad helped to push Foxconn's December revenues to a new record.
Subsidiary Foxconn Technology has reported December revenues of NT$14.499 billion, a slight 8.24% decrease compared to November. Fourth-quarter 2011 revenues were NT$44.629 billion, a 62.8% increase on quarter.
