Finally, Nokia Lumia 920, 820 & 620 handsets reach India 
Nokia has launched another set of Lumia handsets in the Indian market. Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices include Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820 and the Nokia Lumia 620, bolstering its smart devices portfolio in the country. With the latest range of Lumia WP8 devices, Nokia is all set to lead the change for the Windows Phone ecosystem with its Lumia differentiators. The Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will be available in the select retail stores across key cities starting January 11, 2013, while the Nokia Lumia 620 will start retailing in early February 2013.
The stunning Nokia Lumia 920 is the flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone, including the latest advances in Nokia PureView imaging innovation, while the Nokia Lumia 820 is a stylish, mid-range smartphone that delivers high-end performance in a compact package. The Nokia Lumia 620 completes the range of latest Lumia WP8 devices with a more fun and youthful appeal.
Nokia Lumia 920 will be available to Indian consumers at a best buy price of Rs.38,199 and Nokia Lumia 820at Rs. 27,559. Nokia Lumia 620 price will be announced closer to its market availability.....See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
