Microsoft president says it’s ‘cruel & can interrupt on democratic freedoms’ to stop govt agencies from using facial recognition Tech: With the reference to a written allegation to  Microsoft, Amazon, and Google  by 85 human writes groups to stop selling facial recognition software to the governments as it would lead to surveillance instigated to Microsoft President Brad Smith to stop selling facial recognition software to government agencies, saying the move would be “cruel” as it could hobble good work such as diagnosing rare diseases.
